1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Andrew Robinson trading as WeAlign ("WeAlign", "we", "us", or "our") regarding your use of the WeAlign website and services at wealign.io and app.wealign.io (the "Service").

By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Description of Service

WeAlign is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps creative professionals create, manage, and collaborate on project briefs. Our Service includes:

• Brief creation, editing, and management
• Client collaboration and feedback features
• File upload and storage
• Deliverable tracking
• Email notifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

3. Accounts

Account Registration

To use most features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorised access or security breach at support@wealign.io.

Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

Subscription Plans

WeAlign offers various subscription plans with different features and limits. Current pricing and plan details are available on our pricing page.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method for the applicable fees.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purposes

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service, including briefs, project details, and files. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

WeAlign's Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is owned by WeAlign and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

Feedback

If you provide feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation.

7. AI-Generated Content

WeAlign uses artificial intelligence to help generate and enhance brief content. Please be aware that:

• AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and may require review and editing
• AI outputs may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies
• You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before sharing with clients
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content
• Your content is not used to train AI models

You retain full ownership of content generated using our AI tools once you have created or edited it within the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in your settings.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if required by law. We will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
